Poll: cold comfort for NSW opposition

Article Abstract:

The incumbent Labor Party in New South Wales, Australia, will win the election on March 27, 1999, according to February polls. The Liberal-National Coalition had a good chance to defeat the incumbent, but its leadership under Kerry Chikarovski has stumbled. The Coalition's central promise of electricity privatization was not sufficiently thought out. It did not adequately meet the needs of many elder citizens who will receive no financial shares in the privatization, and it did not adequately plan for the privatization of rural electricity.

Death's cocktail

They feel they are justified in creating the deadly brew as they do not want to suffer the indignities the terminally ill have to suffer.
