Precision asset sale paves way for trust

Article Abstract:

The implications of the sale of international and technological divisions by Precision Drilling Corp. are discussed. Weatherford acquired substantial chunk of the assets that were for sale. The likelihood of the company becoming an energy trust is also discussed. Hank Swartout, the founder and chief executive officer of Precision has hinted that he might be on the way out once the trust is formed.
