Presidential libraries: Concerns in Congress

Article Abstract:

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee approved a bill, with strong bipartisan support that requires disclosing names of donors to presidential libraries. The bill also seeks to limit former presidents' ability to block release of their papers. But the U.S. President George W. Bush is threatening to veto the measure on access to records, arguing that it reflects on the president's constitutional authority.
