RBC's Nixon overhauls bank, poaches Stymiest from TSX

Article Abstract:

Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), the country's largest bank, has performed poorly over 2003 and made a radical move to remove its excess employees by announcing the retirements of its chief Financial Officers, retail Banking boss and Chief Risk Officer. RBC has poached Barbara Stymeist from the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) to be the Chief Financial Officer in order to streamline its operation from TSX.

The Bank of Nova Scotia, has dealt with white-collar crime unit comprising members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, with a search warrant as part of a probe into alleged fraud at Royal Group Technologies Ltd. The case was the biggest for the fledgling Integrated Market Enforcement Team.
