Article Abstract:

By the end of year 2004 the first batch of baby boomers will head for permanent retirement and the sheer numbers may well cause economic as well as social upheavals throughout Australia because the market-oriented compulsory super annotation scheme may well be under strain. The plan as was originally envisaged saw Australians becoming self-sufficient without any need for pension but this is far removed from reality as many about to retire citizens have realized leading to a number of them running to professionals who can manage their wealth.

Newton graduated from Harvard, founded Australia's first networking magazine and three other telecommunications magazines, built a trade show organization, and sold those enterprises for $156 mil. He feels the Internet is a fertile ground for investors.
