EMPLOYERS BALK AT NEW HIRINGS, DESPITE GROWTH

Article Abstract:

The improving US economy in November resulted in less new jobs than were expected. Only 57,000 jobs were created according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Economic forecasters predicted that three times as jobs would result, but November was still the fourth straight month of increased employment. The BLS report was not considered a poor reflection on the economic recovery.
