Retailer swings for golf green in Canada

Article Abstract:

Golf Town Canada Inc of Richmond Hill, Ontario, is set to open its first two superstores in the Toronto, Ontario, area. The superstore concept is similar to that of Golf Galaxy of Minneapolis, MN, which owns a 10% stake in Golf Town. A Golf Town store will typically measure about 25,000 square feet and offer a wide selection of golf clothing, equipment and accessories.
