RicoCan REIT expanding to U.S. in joint venture

The RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust of Canada is expanding into United States through a billion-dollar joint venture deal with Michigan-based Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust. The RioCan will hold a 70-per-cent interest in the venture.
