Shame about Warne

Article Abstract:

Shane Warne' brilliant bowling and sharp cricket brain kept Australia' Ashes Cup hopes alive to the bitter end in 2005. It is a shame that he will never captain the Test side because the only reason the Ashes series was not over as a contest long before The Oval was Warne' highly-developed competitive spirit and iron will.

Why Warne is the best man for the job

Article Abstract:

Shane Warne should be appointed Australia's new cricket captain when Mark Taylor retires, but his youth and attraction to gambling could jeopardize his chances. He has a likeable personality and has showed common sense. He is still playing well, and has the potential to be a good captain.
