Police Tactics Mute Protesters And Messages

Article Abstract:

Protests occurring throughout New York City during the Republican National Convention have been given little media attention, in part because police have been using a pre-emptive policy of disrupting protests and arresting demonstrators to ensure that protests did not grow large or loud enough to disrupt the convention.
