Should the lights be dimmed?

Article Abstract:

Premature babies may be hypersensitive to hospital lighting. Some studies show that the intense light can damage a baby's developing retina, even causing blindness. Other studies refute this theory, and the resulting controversy has doctors, scientists and parents at odds.

'What keeps me alive.' (AIDS survivors)

Article Abstract:

The stories of 16 people with AIDS since 1988 are chronicled. Only six are still living. The Centers for Disease Control estimated that half of the 16 would die within a year of 1988, but only three died by that time.
