Boxer Shawn O'Sullivan continues to box at the age of 30 despite being in the waning days of a once promising career. O'Sullivan was managed by Sugar Ray Leonard's manager Mike Trainer, but his career was derailed by a loss in 1986. O'Sullivan continues to fight because it is what he likes to do.

Ice hocky goalie Patrick Roy put white paint on the lower half of his red leg pads in an innovative attempt to confuse players trying to score. There has been a history of creative goalies preparing for the game, such as Gilles Gratton's upside down pushups in full equipment.

How Greg Norman went from goat to hero

Article Abstract:

Norman lost the Masters golf tournament to Nick Faldo despite being ahead earlier in the game by six shots. However, he won praise from many quarters for his good sportsmanship. Other athletes that have shown similar grace during defeat are Boris Becker and Jack Dempsey.
