Another threat to freedom in Ontario

Article Abstract:

Ontario's government has proposed legislation that would require all businesses with over 50 employees to hire the correct number of minorities. In fact, the proposal is racist because it seems to assume that businesses would fail to hire talented people because of prejudice.

In defence of elitism: benefits for everyone

Article Abstract:

Funding for opera and other fine arts should continue, despite the narrow segment of the population they appeal to. Art funding should not be forced to compete with other types of funding such as medical care. There is a need to support art forms that elevate the spirit.
