Slow Food Movement: The Slow food advocates question misleading food labels

Article Abstract:

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA's) allowing large organic dairy companies to violate the requirements for pasture access to animals and labeling the beef as grass-fed has become a controversial issue. Slow Food Advocates have questioned the labeling issue stating that such farming constitutes industrial organic farming, and is not much more environmentally friendly than conventional industrial farming.

Are schools' graduation rates accurate?

Article Abstract:

High schools must raise their graduation rates if they are to make adequate yearly progress as revealed by the 'No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act'. The requirement is designed to prevent schools from improving achievement scores by encouraging their lowest-performing students to leave.
