Article Abstract:

Starbucks, a retailer of specialty coffee, is teaming up with Phillip Morris's Kraft Foods division to market the Starbucks super-premium brand by 1999. However, terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The deal, which calls for Kraft to distribute Starbucks coffees to over 30,000 supermarkets nationwide, is expected to increase Starbucks' 1999 revenue to $1.8 billion, according to Starbucks chief Howard Schultz.
