The Nova Scotia Environmental Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, will treat people who suffer from environmental illnesses. Patients tested the materials used in the facility to ensure that they would not have reactions. The government financed the facility, which has caused controversy.

Ben Wicks' born to read: literacy begins at home

Author and cartoonist Ben Wicks enlisted the help of various literacy groups, sports teams and corporations to help organize the national Born to Read Day, which will be held Apr 24, 1995. School children will receive a book that gives instructions to parents on how encourage reading.
