Women have entered the workforce in record numbers during the last 20 years, and they are doing especially well in service and information industries. Although few women run large corporations, many women run small businesses. Women-owned businesses in Canada employ 1.7 million people.

Salinas should be appreciated by the Mexican people instead of hated as he is now. The people are blaming him for the current peso devaluation, but it was he who opened up free trade, initiated fair elections and reformed the economy.
