The mere business of business-even on gigantic scale of TV network, a magazine publishing empire, cattle stations, gem mines, cotton farms, a mountain ski resort and more could never quite satisfy Kerry Packer's restless soul. His love of sports extended to cars, planes and once he went to Botswana to hunt for an elephant for which he paid dollars 200,000 license fee along with cricketer Tony Greg and they both enjoyed the trip.

Harry Houdini was the first person to undertake a control flight in an aeroplane in Australia but the facts have been in dispute ever since. Harry Houdini made a short drive from Melbourne on a plane purchased from Hamburg, Germany on March 18, 1910.

The Australian scientists are planning to study whales' feeding habits through some DNA tests. They carried out the analyses through scientific methods and not by killing the creature.
