The Animal Gene Storage Resource Centre of Australia is on a mission to create a frozen bank of endangered species tissues that will enable the resurrection of extinct species in the future. With the human population rising to 10 billion by the middle of next century, scientists are increasingly worried about protecting animals that will likely become extinct from competition for natural resources.
