The reasons behind the ousting of Nortel Network Corp's Gary Daichnedt, president and chief operating officer, are discussed. Daichnedt was appointed three months ago, but with differences arising between him and the chief executive officer, Bill Owens over a product strategy plan, he was forced to take leave of the company.
