Three Blondes and a Brownie Inc of Edmonton, Alberta, supplies low-fat cakes and muffins to more than 800 McDonald's outlets in Canada, 220 Safeway grocery stores and 124 Federateed Co-Operative and Calgary Co- operative outlets. The company produces Fat Wise blueberry, cranberry and orange, and apple cinnamon muffins, and Fat Wise brownies, and apple and cherry cakes, at its two outsourced plants in Edmonton and one in Toronto. Three Blondes posted a revenue of C$100,000 in 1994 and is projecting C$3.5 million in 1999.
