Darwin is described as Australia's per-capita murder capital as the crime figures 2004 proves and a study by Martin Babakhan, a lecturer at University of New Castle suggests that this is due to links between offensive behavior and hot weather. Darwin's average temperature of 34 degrees centigrade and humidity levels up to 80 percent raises a human's normal temperature to 42 degrees centigrade from 37 degrees and people will behave strangely under these hot and humid conditions.

The AFP used Allan Anderson, an Australian informer to catch Adam Blake, however it was unnoticed that Anderson himself was allegedly conducting pedophile activities while he was in Indonesia assisting the AFP.
