U.S. auto sales predicted to top record

Article Abstract:

Among those who forecasted the record sales were DaimlerChrysler AG chief economist Van Bussman and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce chief economist Joshua Mendelsohn. Van Bussman predicted total US vehicle sales of 16.7 million and between 15.5 and 16 million next year. Mendelsohn estimates that US sales this year will amount to 16.5 million and 15.5 million next year.
