AT&T Canada and several Canadian charter banks completed a financial restructuring plan for Unitel Communications in Oct 1995. Under the plan, AT&T will increase its stake from 22.5% to as much as 50%. Former investors Canadian Pacific Ltd and Rogers Communications Inc sold their stakes.

Seles won her first match at the US Open in Aug 1995, the first professional game she has played since being stabbed in Germany in Apr 1993. She says she underwent psychotherapy to help deal with the trauma and returned to the sport because she loves to play tennis.
