Article Abstract:

The record-breaking event of an assembly of 4012 utes at one place in Deniliquin in the Riverina district of southern NSW is presented. The ute is supposed to be a man's best friend and the mob assembled at Deniliquin supported that view. Inspite of such a huge crowd and the number of vehicles crammed into one space and the per capita consumption of rum and beer, there were very few arrests and injuries, which showcased the event as a very successful one.
