We had good intel-the U.N.'s

Article Abstract:

The weapons of mass destruction (WMD's) fiasco in the US has led to many questioning intelligence sources that provided wrong information about the extent of the threat the country posed but many would say that UN inspectors were the best human intelligence agents as they provided the most accurate information. The virtual non-existence of WMD's despite intense combing operations underlines the fact that there was no credible informant in Iraq before the operations started and that force should never have been used to oust Saddam Hussein.
