Where death is final, and caution is a must

Article Abstract:

Sierra's Half-Life: Counter-Strike computer game is a mod, or modification of the original action game Half-Life. Whereas Half-Life was a single-player game, Counter-Strike is a multiplayer game. Since there is no resurrection of players in the game, the threat of death is ever-present, and gives the game tension and edge. The game's three missions entail the rescuing of hostages by counterterrorists, the evacuation of a V.I.P. by counterterrorists, or an effort to blow things up. The game stresses strategy and rewards shrewdness and caution as opposed to firepower and swiftness.

Fly in a retro world under Crimson Skies

Article Abstract:

Crimson Skies is an action game with great actors, but plenty of bugs, and insufficient technical support. The great work of the game designers has been damaged by technical issues over which they had no control.
