The National Australian Bank (NAB) has appointed Ahmed Fahour, the 38-year-old chief executive of Citigroup Australia as the head of the NAB's Australian operations in August 2004. This transfer made Fahour earn up to $34-million, making him the highest-paid banker in Australia.
