Article Abstract:

Global YouthConnect (GYC) is an organization founded by 16 youths, almost half of whom grew up in countries ravaged by civil war or strife in neighboring countries. GYC seeks to support youth around the world who are victims of human rights abuses, or standing up to such abuses. Several core members of GYC are profiled.
