Is AT&T worth more divided?

Article Abstract:

Analysts expect AT and T Corp to announce on Oct 25, 2000 a strategy that could possibly break the company into four business units. They say that the company will be broken up into its four core businesses, namely, local and long-distance telephone, cable television, Internet access and wireless telecommunications services. The breakup is aimed primarily to boost prices of its shares, which the company thinks are way undervalued.
