Are socially responsible funds good stewards?

Article Abstract:

The disparity found in the Stewardship Grades with respect to the socially responsible (SRI) funds' expenses is discussed. Domini Social Equity DSEFX and Calvert Social Investment Equity CSIEX are some of the SRI funds that charge higher fee for their in-house funds and also most firms behind SRI funds have strong, fund holder-oriented cultures.
