Investments in the agricultural schemes were slashed from 1.5 billion dollars to 300 million dollars that led to a tax office crackdown. Due to this, investors have shown renewed interest in such schemes as they offer tax deductions on investments and also regard them as an opportunity to invest in assets that are not correlated to the swings of the stock and bond markets.
