Article Abstract:
Pressure group All Mod Cons has been campaigning since 1985 for higher standards of public toilets in the UK. It believes that the number of public toilets should be increased, that opening hours should be increased, that accessibility should be improved and that standards of hygiene, maintenance and design should be raised. The group is involved in several different areas of research, and aims to make progress by educating all those responsible for providing public toilets.
