Legal actions can be taken against vendors if they misrepresent facts and under the Trade Practices Act, a contract is declared void if details on the property were misrepresented. Research suggests that the industrial rent throughout Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane would continue to rise as the hike in land prices makes it hard for developers to charge lower rates.
