Reversal of fortune: house rich, cash poor? Tap the equity in your home

Article Abstract:

Reverse mortgages, which make use of home equity, can provide an additional income and/or a credit line. The loan does not have to be repaid until the home is sold or until the homeowner dies. Details of the Federal Housing Administration's program and other programs are discussed.
