Tax filers listen up: this year, try out the new electronic tax filing

Article Abstract:

New rules for 1998 enable more people to deduct more from their income tax. There are higher income limits for IRA tax deductions, lower capital gains rates, and the possiblility of deducting insurance premiums. There is also a tax credit for college course tuition. On the other hand, self-employed people may be required to pay estimated taxes four times a year.
