Vehicle Scheduling Revisted
Article Abstract:
The affects of rounding of intercustomer distances in early results produced by 'saving algorithms' are considered. Rounding may impair the comparability of results. Errors in the distances caused by the bias affects scheduling. Caution must be used comparing results based on rounded and those based on unrounded customer distances. Tables are given.
