The quiet achievers

Article Abstract:

Listed investment companies (LICs) can deliver solid returns even when the stock market goes down. They can help investors to achieve diversification and expose them to hundreds of companies in many industries. LICs are like managed funds, but are listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). Self-funded retirees are the most active investors in LICs because dividends are disbursed and because they are solid performers over time. They are recommended as good investments for all types of investors by some advisors.
