Upfront investor: news, views and latest investment products

Article Abstract:

The Australian Securities and Investments CommissionEs (ASIC) recent report into 'soft dollar' commissions reveals that many financial planners do not disclose that information, even though they are required by law to do so. The Financial Services Reform Act requires advisers to disclose information about any monetary and nonmonetary benefits, and other interests and relationships with the issuers of any financial product that might be capable of influencing their advice.
