The share prices of Western Mining Corp. (WMC) have been vulnerable over the years, but it is not strictly a reflection of commodity prices. WMC has kept cost down and in the past it has been rewarded. But it is predicted by HSBC Securities that WMC will under-perform the market in 2000 due to a bearish world-wide economic outlook. However, the company is believed to be well-positioned to see a strong share price performance with the commodity shows improvement.
