Article Abstract:

The new Financial Services Reform Act (FSRA) came into force on 12th March 2004 and since then all the financial planners are supposed to provide a detailed report to its customers about the recommended products for the investor's financial plan, the planner's qualification and the form of remuneration. The enforcement of this act helps the investors to get correct detailed information and documentation.

Costs and tax matter

Article Abstract:

Fees and taxes are rightfully attracting more attention and with better disclosure of dollar amounts, this is set to continue. Managed funds are required to provide an increasing level of transparency around fees as they tend to have high operating expenses and hence they must be a significant factor to consider while investing in such funds.
