The growth strategies and prospects of electric companies are discussed. Warren Buffet has recently acquired PacifiCorp through his MidAmerican Energy. This has resulted in an increase in prices of electric companies' stocks, which have been lying low since Enron scandal. The implications of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 are also discussed.
