Cosmetics manufacturers need to trust the people who are developing packaging for them since these people are the professionals they will be working closely with. Manufacturers should not restrict packaging designers by informing them of the allocated budget in advance. The nature of the competitor's packaging will be the last basis for deciding how a product's packaging will appear. This necessitates informing the packaging designer of the desired effect being sought by the manufacturer. Products dealing with skin care are often packaged in plastic, glass, bottles and tubes while more bath-care products are adopting polyethylene teraphthalate. Color is considered a rather stable category for packaging. The fragrance sector is usually packaged in glass.

Jojoba esters in lipsticks

Article Abstract:

Lipstick products' stick-strength levels can be substantially increased if their lipstick formulations are added with jojoba esters-70. The significant improvement in lipstick products' stick strength is dependent on the wax utilized in the lipstick formula. Jojoba esters-70 were also found during tests to have several existing synergies with the studied waxes, such as microcrystalline wax and beeswax. The studies showed that if the said materials are utilized alone at an 18% rate in lipstick formulas, they exhibit no or low stick strength.
