A brief history, scope, and peculiarities of "analytical Marxism"

Article Abstract:

The foundations of analytical Marxism, a school of thought that occupies a particular position in radical theory is explored to determine its scope, bring out its specificity and review authors who undoubtedly constitute its hard core. Results reveal that analytical Marxism, is scientifically flawed, which instead of questioning the tools that were using analytical philosophy, logical positivism, methodological individualism, and general equilibrium, postulated that these tools are efficient and that Marxism is separated from its own method.

A history of contemporary political economy and postmodernism

Article Abstract:

The postmodernist interpretations of history of economic theory are criticized from a Marxist perspective rejecting them as historically unfounded and analytically infertile. Postmodernist economics acts like the king's parliamentary opposition, which offers a vociferous critique without being either willing or able to overturn the regime.
