The US is still a world power militarily, technologically and politically. However, homelessness, racial marginalization and an ever-widening social gap also plague the US. Its fault lies in its creation of a 'market society' where capitalism rules over family, social and cultural values.

Singapore's senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew discloses his thoughts about Chinese supremacy by the year 2020 and the US' pluralism. Yew believes that individual supremacy and the right to free expression will not work unless it is carried out in moderation, as exemplified by the US.
