The US will remain the leader of the international community. American society encompasses different racial and ethnic backgrounds and from this diversity it draws its strength. However, the media have depicted the US negatively, which adversely affects the US's image as a world leader.

Facing a world without threats

Article Abstract:

A Russian nuclear attack is no longer apparent and a power struggle among the EC, Japan and the US is not likely to occur in the near future. The US, therefore, should concentrate on protecting the environment and promoting economic development and democracy.
