Polish Plumber Fails to Threaten

Article Abstract:

The European Union in 2006 should scrap the restrictions most countries imposed to prevent free movement of workers from new member states, as when reviewing the impact of the transitional arrangements they are ill-founded. The two years ago enlargement was a historic step which preceded by scare stories about floods of migrants coming from the east to crowd national out of the labour market.

G8-governing the global economy: Growing numbers

Article Abstract:

German Chancellor Gerhard Schroder in 1999 put forth the idea of including China in the G8 summit and was viewed favorably by Canada and Britain. China can rightly be treated as an integral part of global governance and it is believed that China could make the most substantial contribution to the one of the pressing issue, that is, rebalancing the global economy.

European Union expansion and Ukraine

Article Abstract:

Reports states that Ukraine becomes a borderland to the European Union (EU) for its expansion and offers a lot of opportunities. It is discussed that with the EU expanding and Russia adopting a more assertive foreign policy, Ukraine finds itself more tightly pressed between east and west.
