The function of administration
Article Abstract:
French industrialist Henri Fayol advocated the scientific study of public administration. His empirical analysis of administration formed the basis of his thesis on administrative function. He classified all business undertakings into technical, commercial, security, financial, accounting and administrative operations. Fayol's theory of administration involves planning, organizing, commanding, coordinating and controlling. He believes that the principles of administration are limitless.

Binary decision analysis: an empirical approach to predicting and understanding organizational decisions
Article Abstract:
An evaluation of binary decision analysis and its applications is presented. The study focuses on the analysis' approach to studying organizational decisions using mathematical variables. The binary approach is considered in terms of decision analysis while its mathematical basis is tested by applying logit regression. It is shown that a successful combination of both approaches generates a tool by which organizational decision analysis can be made.
