Transition scenarios for a post-Castro Cuba: Military outcomes or civil prospects

Article Abstract:

The transition scenarios of a post-Castro Cuba are presented considering the result to be a military regime or a democratic government. The pro Castro Cuba Lobby wants to maintain the dictatorship of Fidel Castro, as it would be a cheaper approach to political change than the billion of dollars involved in transitional scenarios presented on the presumption of a short-term restoration of a democratic Cuba.

The legal processing of human rights violations in Germany and Austria, 1933-1945

Article Abstract:

The Nazis were astonishingly adroit in maintaining the fiction of legality behind their every effort at dehumanizing Jews. The public toleration and the active participation of the society in the militarization and Nazification of Austria and Germany from 1933 to 1945 accelerated the creation of a diabolical universe where Jews were separated from non-Jews as animals are separated from humans.

Toward a natural history of Holocaust studies

Article Abstract:

This article examines the historiography of Holocaust studies. The author discusses four stages; literature of witnesses, the historical and journalistic stage, the psychological and social scientific stage, and a fourth stage of analysis, and argues these stages lay the framework for warning and prevention of future genocidal acts.
