Disruption without disintegration

Article Abstract:

There will be a significant change in the political system in China during the first decade of the 21st century which would be characterized by a sharing of power by the ruling Communist Party with some other groups. The Party would find it expedient to find ways to justify accommodations if it is to survive and avoid a radical situation such as a revolution. In this situation, the Chinese economy is expected to continue its growth.

The new challenges to human rights

Article Abstract:

The struggle over human rights between the conflicting ideologies of democracy and communism is analyzed. Changes in historical perspectives have brought the struggle to a new context of culture, where human rights are confined to few European countries. However, an even more complex challenge of resolving the conflict between science and human identity should be dealt with in the future.
